Before Scran, I didn’t go to school because I didn’t get on with the teachers and I felt like they didn’t help me. I also never went to college because it felt massive, with too many people, and I was scared of doing things wrong.

Instead, I got a dog, and I used to play rugby and dance. I did freestyle disco dancing, which I really enjoyed.
I found out about Scran because John, the founder, is my cousin. He told me about the new café opening, and that’s how I found out about the opportunity to work there.

At Scran, I’m a Front of House Assistant. I serve people food and make coffees. My favourite coffee to make is a cappuccino because they look pretty when I make them. I put the chocolate on first and then make the art in it.

My favourite thing about working at Scran is serving lunch and making my colleagues laugh. I enjoy being around everyone and being part of the team.

Outside of Scran, it’s basically sleep, eat, work, repeat! I also have two guinea pigs- Scruffles and Ruffles, and a hamster called Cleo.
