Catering for the future!
We are a youth-led catering social enterprise that provides delicious, nourishing food for a wide variety of events, from drop-off lunch boxes and buffets to three-course meals and large community celebrations. Our service brings people together through food, celebration and connection across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Our work is powered by young people who help to create the menus, prepare the food and serve it with pride. Along the way, they gain valuable kitchen skills, confidence and practical work experience while giving back to their communities.
At the heart of our community outreach is The Scran Van, our mobile kitchen that takes our catering on the road. The van allows us to reach people directly at outdoor and community events, partnering with charities and local organisations to serve up great food in a fun, inclusive atmosphere. The Scran Van has appeared at events such as PEEK’s Play Day in Glasgow, Castlebrae’s Friday Night Lights football events and the North Edinburgh Festival.

We believe that young people are best placed to strengthen their communities, and we exist to give them the opportunity to do just that with food that nourishes more than just an empty stomach.
