Hi, I’m Roisin, I’m 24 and I joined Scran Academy in 2025 as a Youth Development Worker. Before Scran, I spent time volunteering in youth center’s and clubs across the city, including music groups where I still teach singing. I originally graduated in Musical Theatre, but I quickly realised my true passion lies in supporting young people, especially during the crucial moments that shape who they become.

I believe in the power of listening, showing up, and creating safe spaces where young people feel seen and heard. That’s what drew me to Scran. As a Youth Development Worker, my role is all about supporting young people through key moments in their lives-helping them build confidence, resilience, and realise their own potential in both education and life in general.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me singing, playing guitar, spending time with my family, or curled up on the sofa with my mini dachshund, Winnie.
