I am the Front of House Lead at the new café at the RHCYP. It has been a very busy start but I’m already beyond proud of what the young people have accomplished. Seeing them grow in confidence and gain new skills is truly rewarding.

Before joining team Scran I worked in hospitality for twenty years, my last role was Floor Manager in a restaurant in my hometown, Falkirk. I also recently completed a degree in Sociology which has fuelled my passion for social equity. These paths have led me perfectly to this role – the opportunity to help narrow the attainment gap for kids facing barriers to education and prepare them for their working lives as adults is exciting.

Outside of work I love an outdoor adventure with my two children – hiking, climbing, wild swimming, exploring new place, beach days or just relaxing at home with a good TV show and cuddles from our cat Lucy.
