Before I got the job at Scran, I had experience from working in a restaurant and I studied Culinary Food and Beverage Service at college which I just graduated from. Before that I went to the Academy in 2023/24 and that’s where I learnt about food hygiene and safety and I learnt how to cook and make bread, which helped me get the qualifications to go to college and the confidence, as I never used to go to my classes at school because of the teachers but at Scran it was a different setting, it was still scary at first but it’s got easier especially as I made friends, and now coming to Scran and the cafe is easy and good.

At Scran, I am a Kitchen Assistant. That involves assisting Hannah and the team by making food and cooking. I help out by doing everything in the kitchen, that involves preparing food, cooking, serving. My favourite thing to make is the soup, my favourite kind of soup is carrot and coriander.

Outside of work, I like to sleep, a lot, and play games and sleep some more. I like to play GTA and Red Dead Redemption 2.
