After spending 20 successful years in management positions in retail and sales, I decided to pursue a career in support. In 2019, I began working as a housing support worker for Link Living, specialising in helping young vulnerable individuals who were at risk of homelessness or family breakdown. I worked in collaboration with multiple agencies across Edinburgh to support many young people in securing their first tenancies along with additional support to access benefits or paid employment.

In 2022, I joined Scran Academy as their Youth Employability Coordinator. Here, I support young people in taking the necessary steps towards positive outcomes and brighter futures. Through 1-2-1 support and work placement opportunities, I work with our young people and their families to design their own path to employment or further education while building and developing key life skills.
