Hi, I'm Brodie and I'm joining Scran Academy as a Youth Development Worker.

I will be joining the Scran academy team with experience in community engagement, complex case management and peer support across both Veteran and public sectors. After starting out my work career in the Australian Navy, I transitioned into community support and youth work roles. I have spent the last five years supporting Veterans and their families through one to one support, group facilitation and community based initiatives designed to improve social connection and wellbeing. I have also spent time as a contractor to the Western Australian Police Force, working as a case manager within the countering violent extremism unit, managing complex cases and working alongside multiple agencies to support individuals at risk.

I'm excited to provide a safe and supportive resource to the participants, to enable them to grow and thrive in life beyond the academy.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, going to the gym and taking photos of my travels.
