Before working for Scran I had a range of jobs working with young people and food. I ran a community café and hundreds of events for young people along with having been an outdoor nursery teacher. My passion is making Scotland the best place to grow up; embracing new and exciting ways to support our young people into realising their full potential. 

I deliver our Scran Clan outreach programme out of the Scran Van, driving across Edinburgh and the Lothians providing work experience and skills development opportunities for young people. Along with supporting our wider work action as Services and Impact Lead.

Outside of work I love to bring people together through cooking and playing board games. Or jumping in my van and heading to the beach for some outdoor swimming or a cheeky weekend away to enjoy Scotland's amazing landscapes. I love to give back to my community, supporting young people in the Home Education community and teaching Rainbows (4-6 age group of GirlGuiding).
