I joined Scran in July 2024 as Academy Programme Lead. I have over 20 years’ experience in championing young people in a variety of settings. Before joining Scran Academy I was Scotland manager for The Talk About Trust, delivering training to charities that work with vulnerable young people. I previously worked with young people with care experience and ran a Peer Alcohol Education Programme in HMYOI Polmont, where I enjoyed supporting young people to deliver alcohol education sessions and achieve their goals. I have a background of working in addictions and have worked in both HMP Edinburgh as an addictions’ worker and in a residential rehab for women and their children. I am excited to join Scran and for the next chapter.

Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, eating, travelling, socialising and a good film. My favourite film is Happy Gilmore.
